Tradesmen will pay for Weld Test practice the day before the actual test
Pay is $33/hour and $70 per diem to qualified travelers working ten hour days with overtime. $36/hour for night shift (not guaranteed)
Weld Test Information - All are XRay
1) 6 Schedule 40 5G TIG w/309 SS filler wire
2) 2.5 Schedule 160 6G TIG w/309 SS filler wire
3) 6 Schedule 160 TIG root & hot pass w/70S-2 (carbon rod) then 7018 (stick) fill & cap
TWIC Card is now required

Additional requirements:
4 years of experience with Stick, Mig, Tig, Flux Core welding
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
High standard of integrity and professionalism
